User Management#

Creating Users:#

  1. Go to Settings → Users and Companies → Users Purchase

  2. Click New to add a new user Purchase

  3. Enter user details:

  4. Name
  5. Email address (must be legitimate for communication)
  6. User type:
    • Internal User: can perform actions in the system
    • Public/Portal: view-only access
  7. Access rights and permissions

Inviting Users:#

Two methods to provide access: 1. Send invitation email: Purchase

  • Click "Show and send an invitation email"
  • User will receive an email to create their password

  • Set password directly:

  • Click the settings icon for the user
  • Select "Change Password" Purchase

  • Enter a password

  • Click "Change Password"
  • Share credentials with the user

User status will change from "Never Connected" to "Connected" after their first login. Purchase

Importing Data#

Ametnes ERP provides import functionality for most data types (products, categories, vendors, etc.):

Best Practice for Importing: Purchase

  1. First export an existing record of the same type

  2. Use this export as a template to understand required fields and formats

  3. Populate the template with your data

  4. Import the populated template

This approach ensures your data matches Ametnes ERP's expected structure and reduces errors during import.
